This is one of our favorite London properties. Located overlooking Richmond Green, this historic Georgian house is part of the original estate of King Henry VII.

The home is beautifully decorated with antiques and art. Enter the drawing room which occupies the entire ground floor and overlooks The Green. There is a working marble fireplace at one end and a gas log fire at the other end where the Cable TV and DVD are located. The two rooms are divided by large double doors.

The kitchen, on the lower ground floor, is well equipped with a large American style refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, a three ring wide gas cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee, espresso maker and TV. The kitchen is open to the dining room which a Spanish style walnut table and chairs to seat 8 to 10 people.

Up the stairs from the drawing room is the bright master bedroom which occupies the entire floor and has sweeping views across the Green. The decor is French with a queen bed, wardrobes, dressers and lovely chairs. The en-suite bathroom, accessed through the dressing room, has a roll top bathtub and large walk in marble shower.

Three other bedrooms are upstairs on the top floor. Two rooms have double beds and the third bedroom has a single Sleigh bed. The family bathroom on this floor has a bathtub with a hand held shower. There is also a separate guest half-bathroom on the landing between floors.

There is a small enclosed and very private sunny garden at the back of the house with a barbecue area, table and chairs for alfresco dining and steps up to a small grassy area. There is also a Juliet balcony overlooking the rear of the house. The private driveway has parking for 3 or 4 cars.

Richmond is an exciting and upscale area with 2 theatres and 11 cinemas, many shops, pubs, restaurants, art galleries, etc. The house is only a few minutes walk to the river or to the town center. London and Wimbledon are both only a 20-minute tube ride.

Other amenities include a washing machine and dryer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

Housekeeping services are included twice weekly. Additional housekeeping is available. Welcome pack and Information pack are included. Stag and Hen parties are NOT allowed. Pets may be allowed upon owner approval and with an additional security deposit. This is a non-smoking property.
